Pastoral Care

The Pastor of OCC sincerely wishes to know where there is a need for a conversation, a consultation, a visit, or a phone call, whether for yourself or for a loved one. Frank Baldwin can be reached through the church office 7 days a week. The church phone number is (925)254-4906. After-hours messages are checked in the late afternoon and evening, as well as the first thing each morning. A Pastor is always on call in the event of an emergency. Additional spiritual support is available through the Parish Callers and the Prayer List Network, who may also be contacted through the church office. Please be in touch; no concern is too small.

Weddings

Thinking of getting married?  Come and take a look at our beautiful sanctuary and picturesque campus with great hall, ideal for gatherings large and small.  Let our caring pastoral staff, our world-class musicians and our efficient wedding coordinator help you make your wedding day unforgettable! The pastors and the wedding coordinator are always glad to consult with couples, and a packet of wedding information may be requested from the church office. While our basic orientation in marriage services is Christian, it is not necessary to be a member of the Orinda Community Church in order to be married here. However, the church is generally unable to accomodate weddings planned with pastors from other churches.

Memorial Services

The pastoral staff is available in times of death and bereavement. Memorial services are often held at the church and the office can provide further information. Please call the church office to arrange for pastoral care or the involvement of either the Parish Callers or the Orinda Community Church Prayer Network.
