Wednesday Breakfast Group:
For many years Orinda Community Church has had an active and
resourceful breakfast fellowship group devoted to the study and discussion
of contemporary social and justice issues. Members and guests present
on various topics by means of personal opinion commentary, media reprints,
book reviews and videotapes. A wide range of viewpoints and a lively
discussion is practically guaranteed. The group meets weekly from 7:00-8:00
Social Action and Community Affairs Seminars:
As part of a continuing program of religious education and spiritual development
for adults, Orinda Community Church each year offers a number of after church
forums and seminars dealing with social justice and community issues.
Because of its suburban setting, the congregation consciously seeks to include
a regional and global perspective in its outreach and social concerns.
Lamorinda Interfaith Ministerial Association:
Orinda Community Church participates in a variety of local interfaith programs
and activities through the Lamorinda Interfaith Ministerial Association.
The Association links approximately 30 congregations and faith communities
in Orinda, Lafayette and Moraga.
